The summer of BIMI? Current status and upcoming webinar

BIMI's so hot right now! Everybody's asking me lately which ISPs support it and how do I set it up and do I need a VMC and more! Lots of smart folks have implemented a BIMI logo already -- and I think BIMI adoption is poised to explode...maybe making this the summer of BIMI? Or maybe not, because stuff always seems to moves slower than I hope it will. But hey, it was an excuse to make a fun graphic!

As far as ISP and mailbox provider support for BIMI logos, we're basically at the same place we were back when I last posted a status update back in January, 2022. The usual suspects are still in the same place as before: Yahoo, Gmail and Fastmail will display BIMI logos, Gmail requires a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC), and Microsoft hasn't announced anything on the logo front in years, sadly. For more details on all of these points, check out my previous post on the topic.

In the mean time, after noticing that everybody else seems to be doing a BIMI-related webinar or workshop, I though that we might as well jump on the bandwagon. All the cool kids are doing it! Join Jennifer Nespola Lantz and I as we "Get BIMI With It" with it being a fun Kickbox Live session we'll be hosting on June 1st at 12:00 noon US central time. We'll happily teach you what a BIMI logo is, why they're cool, how to set it up, how to purchase a VMC (and/or how to go the "fake BIMI" route at Gmail if you're not ready for a VMC). You can register for the session here. Bring your questions -- we'll answer as many of them as we can!
